Kara Ross NY makes best efforts to keep our e-boutique updated with current inventory, but given the nature of demand, many times quantities will be limited or sold out before the website reflects this status. All purchases are shipped via FedEx. Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed before it is shipped. You may select the FedEx service of your choice when you check out at www.kararossny.com. All orders require a signature upon receipt. We cannot ship to Post Office Boxes or AFPO's. Kara Ross NY processes e-commerce orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Kara Ross cannot be held responsible for unanticipated delays. If there is an issue with your shipping address, you will be contacted by a Kara Ross NY representative via e-mail. We will hold your order for 5 business days. Please take note of our suggested guidelines for maintaining your Kara Ross item. The following are suggestions will help preserve the original quality of your purchase, so you can enjoy it for years to come.
JEWELRY & HANDBAGS
Every piece of Kara by Kara Ross jewelry features real semi-precious gemstones and genuine exotic skins. Our products are made by hand and therefore, require gentle handling.
GEMSTONE CARE
Following each wear, wipe the gemstone and metal portions of the product gently with a soft cloth and store in a jewelry box or other location away from direct sources of light, heat, moisture or air conditioning. If you own a piece featuring exotic skins, please lightly dust the skin with a dry cloth or make-up brush to remove any lint.
Gemstones are porous rocks that can absorb anything. Therefore, avoid using even soap when cleaning them. They should be just wiped gently with moist cloth. Pearls and most gemstones do not stand the force of cleaning agents, polishing cloth or ultrasonic cleaners. Please avoid direct contact with water (salt or fresh), excessive perspiration, and chemicals such as chlorine, sulfur, perfume, detergent and lotion.
Our pieces consist of metal plated with 14K and 18K gold. The metal may darken or tarnish with normal wear. We recommend gently wiping the metal surface with a polishing cloth; however, excessive polishing will rub off the plating and is not recommended.
EXOTIC SKIN CARE
The best way to care for an exotic leather accessory is to simply keep it clean and dry. Do not use cleaning or conditioning products designed for cow leather; such products will damage most exotic leathers.
Ideally, you should clean your alligator, crocodile or other exotic leather accessory every few months with a clean damp cloth or with a cleaner specifically intended for such exotic leathers.
When not in use, it is important to keep your exotic leather item relatively cool and dry. If used infrequently, you should also take care that the leather (any leather) item is stored in a natural unstressed position.
Because all of the stones and exotic skins used in our collections are real, they may vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in natural stones and is a part of their beauty.
- RETURN, EXCHANGE & CREDIT POLICY

Kara Ross will accept items for exchange or refund within 28 days of purchase. Your original purchase must be returned in new condition with its original packaging. Sale items and custom orders are final. Once your return is processed, you will receive a credit by email. Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment. We do not refund shipping charges on returned items. Kara Ross NY is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Goods must be returned with their original sales slip and shipped in a trackable and insured way. Please provide us with details as to the reason for your return/exchange - it will help us ensure better service in the future.
Exchanges will be subject to shipping charges. Please note that your exchange item may be out of stock by the time your return is processed. We will notify you as to the exchange ship date or a refund or credit will be issued. All credits are valid for one year after issue date.
- REPAIR POLICY

Please contact repairs@KaraRossNY.com regarding all repairs. All repairs will be handled on a case by case basis. Please include a photo of the item and your receipt as proof of the original date of purchase. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the repair and return to you. Kara Ross cannot be held accountable for unanticipated delays. Your piece will be sent back to you via FedEx Ground unless you specify otherwise. Repairs are subject to the availability of the original parts used in the piece.
We are not able to repair pieces bought at other retail locations, please bring the item in question to the store from which you purchased it. We work directly with all of our retail partners to support their efforts with customers.
