For J. Mendel’s Spring/Summer 2008, Kara Ross worked with designer Gilles Mendel to create jewelry for the runway show. Kara noted, "There was an "X" motif running through the clothes so I made cuffs in yellow gold and gunmetal to coordinate with the colors of the clothing with lapis, hematite, malachite, and white jade stones. It works with a lot of his colors."
While piecing together the final elements of her Spring/Summer 2008 collection, designer Sue Stemp and stylist Annabel Tollman knew they wanted to add Kara Ross’ funky and eclectic jewelry to the mix. Kara’s pieces added the finishing touch to a fun and spirited runway show.
